Small-eyed Leaf Beetle (Monolepta bioculata)

The Small-eyed Leaf Beetle (Monolepta bioculata) belongs to the Chrysomelidae family and is only about 5mm (1/2 an inch) in length.
 They are distributed thoughout South Africa and easily recognised by the four yellow spots on the Elytra. These can be found on all types of flowers and are also capable of jumping.
