Beautiful pictures as always. The muddy and torn clothes is more than worth the result! I seem to remember seeing wild morning glory before but perhaps it was when I was at Pilanesberg. We used to have time share at Bakubung - yet another memory for me. Diane
These were taken near there Diane. It is the gate I usually use to go in at. I am so glad it is near enough to spend days there and not have to travel too far.
I was teasing about some of those but not the muddy. LOL!! Now and again the thorns get me good too as I am looking for insects and not where I am going. :)
Joan, your pics are so perfectly focused! These are so crisp and clear. I especially like the one with the stem, and how my attention is drawn to one set of prickly leaves.
I too have seen all different collours of morning glory even sizes. but not a yellow one, I saw A yellow hibiscus even a peach one. i also want to know how to put signatures on photos. not nice to see your pics on some lazy sods website to make money. there is even a bus running around here with one of my photos or rather triple photos brazened across its body work. Most of the programs you use for manipulating your photographs can put your name on Tony. In the left hand margine there is usually a capital "A" and this is what you would use. It is listed with allthe other applications of the programs. What a pity we have to protect out things against people who steal them.
Hmmmm....Now where's that picture of you crawling in the brush covered with mud? LOL! Actually I've already posted them all and hope you copied them for future use. Keep the theives at bay. I've seen Morning Glories in the wild, I think midwestern US. Probably considered a weed as their vines spread rapidly. Glad you're getting away for some fall photos. Find any chocolate cake? ;-)

Yes, things are starting to turn brown and dull here and soon there will not be too many bugs left either so I have to take what pictures I can. I do wish we had trees which turned those lovely autumn colors but they seem to go straight from green to brown here.
No chocolate cake yet!! Darn!! I am going to have to go back and see if they have some in today as it is getting close to the weekend when new stock arrives.
We have lots of colors in Morning Glories here Becky. They seem to grow all over the place but this wild one is very different to them and is not much of a creeper.

Lovely flowers there Joan! We have wild morning glories at our school - pink, violet and white ones - but I heard that they're a weed though and should be removed?
Wow Joan, these are all so nice and warm looking. My favorites are the second and fifth ones, so beautiful. They all look like they're fairly small flowers.
But the greatest discoveries are in the deviations Joan...enjoy your cake.. I will be looking for more spiders...or I think they will be looking for me.....Michelle

Thanks Tom. These wild flowers are sometimes so pretty but they tend to be very small too and not suitable for a garden.

I think the spiders and other insects watch us all the time and probably shake their heads at most of the things we get up to. LOL!!
