Eyes

I was trying to capture the reflection in animals eyes so please enlarge the first three pictures by clicking on them to see it properly.

A giraffe.....
A beautiful cheetah....
Spotted Hyaena.....
Forest Cobra......
Some animals were too small like this snake but it made an interesting picture anyway so I thought I would include it.
A Rattle Snake with it slitted eyes.....
A Caracal...... They have such beautiful ones.
A Wilddog.......

  6. Hello Anne. I am always so pleased to hear from you. It is getting warmer so it is time I started visiting again. Just not this month as I am going to be away for 2 weeks as you know.

I think the art of taking photographs like these is in knowing the animals behavious and the power to anticipate their moves plus being observant to the point where you notice things like these reflections. Having worked for so long with animals, it comes easy for me.

I was standing right under the giraffe for that picture as it is one which is quite tame. The other animals were around the car I was driving in and the snakes were luckily behind perspez/glass. :)
