Bagrada Bug (Bagrada hilaris)

Family Pentatomidae
These are very small and easily identified by the colours.


They are found in large numbers and damage shoots of young plants.

Feed on potato, peanuts and garden flowers.

They have an extremely limited area in which they are found.

  1. It is an invasive stink bug which is doing a lot of damage here including eating the larvae of some butterflies.
