Mantis

The number of species of mantis we have here seems endless and I am always finding new ones which I have not seen before.

 We apparently have about 180 species in this region.

 They sit absolutely dead still hoping something will come within reach.

 This one was very interesting to me with its white markings.

 At first I though it was because it was shedding its skin but this is not the case.
